What if you could step into Scripture and witness the life of Jesus firsthand? Imaginative prayer invites us to do just that—engaging the senses, emotions, and heart to experience biblical stories in a transformative way.
This contemplative practice, drawn from the Ignatian tradition, opens new depths of prayer, drawing us into a personal encounter with Christ. This online session is designed for those who desire a richer, more intimate connection with Scripture.
Led by an experienced spiritual director, this teaching and demonstration will guide participants through the process of imaginative prayer—learning to see, hear, and feel the presence of Christ within the biblical narrative. Beyond personal renewal, this practice has powerful implications for preaching, pastoral care, and discipleship, offering a way to bring Scripture to life for those we serve.
Participants will also have the opportunity to collaborate in breakout sessions, sharing their experiences and equipping one another to bring the practice back to their communities. As an ecumenical gathering, this event fosters unity among church leaders, reminding us that though our traditions may differ, our shared longing for God unites us.
Join us for this sacred time of prayerful immersion in Scripture and discover how imaginative prayer can renew both your soul and your ministry.
